GNPHS School (Itarsi) is a premier educational institution that provides students with a comprehensive and well-rounded education. The school offers a range of programs for students at every stage of their academic journey, including primary, middle, high school, and higher secondary.
Primary School: Our primary school program, catering to students in Class IV to V, is designed to introduce children to independent learning. We use a variety of teaching techniques, including audio-visual aids, telling, and enacting, to help students understand concepts and improve their academic skills such as reading, writing, researching, reasoning, and communicating. Along with English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Science (EVS), and Social Studies, we also offer Abacus, Art & Craft, Dance, and Physical Education (Yoga, Judo, Games) as part of our curriculum.
Middle School: As students move into middle school, we focus on preparing them for the challenges of high school. We provide them with opportunities to take on responsibilities and become more independent while offering the support and structure needed for success. The school academic session starts in the first week of April every year and ends on March 31st of the subsequent year. Hence applications for admission must ordinarily reach the school latest by March 1 in the year that admission is sought. It is desirable that all admission formalities be completed well before the end of March. However limited vacancies may exist in the middle of the academic year. Information on midyear vacancies may be obtained by e-mailing or contacting the school Admission Coordinators. However it is best to apply early.

For all other classes, admissions shall be done on the basis of performance of the student in written tests of 1 hour each conducted in English, Hindi and Maths. All the admissions in these classes shall be done strictly on merit basis and will depend on the number of seats available in each class.
ADMISSION RULES
The school accepts boarders from the age of 9 and above
The under mentioned items should be furnished by the parents/guardians of children at the time of enrolment
The birth certificate of the child
The school medical form duly completed as specified
The latest Progress Report (if any) of the child
Latest photograph of the child (4)
Photographs of the parents or legal guardians
Identity proof of parents
Admission will be granted at the sole discretion of the principal
The school reserves the right of refusing admission/ re-admission without assigning any reason for doing so
We do not entirely go by the progress reports or certificates from previous schools where a child may have studied In order to assess a child ability, we will make our own assessment. We will however, require the progress report for scrutiny All newly admitted students will be assessed by us over a period in the first one month to consider their suitability for the class applied for. If, on the basis of assessment the child is not found fit, then he/she will be put in the class appropriate to his/her ability
INTRODUCTION
Parents/Guardians will be bound by the school rules, in all respect, as they are updated from time to time. In all matter of dispute, decision of the principal will be binding on the parent/ guardian.
The parents/guardians will not hold the school responsible for any illness/accidents and will not claim against the act of illness, accidents or any of the causes, prevailing earlier and happens accidently.
Smoking, Use of alcoholic drinks or drugs and mobile phones and leaving school without permission, are strictly probihited. Students involved in such or similar activities may be expelled from the school.
The Principal is fully empowered to remove a student from the school, hostel if in his opinion, the student has failed to abide by the disciplinary standards of the school, and if his continued retention is detrimental to the interest of other students of the school.
Damage to the school property, including library books, will have to be made good by the parents of the defaulting students. Boarders are not allowed to keep cash.
No money is to be given or sent directly to boarders. It may be notified here that unauthorized cash found with the boarder will be forfeited.
Possession of expensive articles is discouraged.
All correspondence by parents/guardians regarding a boarder should be addressed to the principal.
Only parents or relative nominated by parents shall be allowed to visit/meet their wards.
Leaves will not be granted during examination days, annual events, school functions and inter-house competitions. Leave may be granted for some particular medical treatment.
For all kinds of leave written request or email by parents/guardians should be made to the principal in advance. No leave will be granted on a student request or a request made on telephone.
Leave will be considered only when the application is made by the parent or the guardian.
If a student is absent due to some illness, application to that effect should be accompanied by medical certificate from a registered (MBBS) doctor.
